![]() ![]() It is not how the games were meant to be played. I would advise against playing Second Opinion or New Blood with a gamepad. You could probably play the non-action-based, visual novel segments of Trauma Team (Diagnostics & Forensics) with a gamepad because those are more about reasoning and logic than actual operations. I have a hard time imagining you could survive on anything other than the easy difficulties. Moving your pointer with an analog stick will be way slower than pointing at the screen which will in turn make the whole game harder. Ever hear of how games like Resident Evil 4 are much easier on the Wii because pointing at the screen is a lot faster than moving your reticle with the analog stick? Same deal here. Using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk as virtual scalpels, syringes, and other tools of the medical trade felt so right in Wii launch title Trauma Center: Second Opinion, and follow-up New Blood. The only way I could imagine you maybe having success is if you play the game on an easy difficulty. now all that is needed to make it PLAYABLE is the ability to move the wii mote twoard and away from the s. Especially if the gamepad doesn't have shake support (that would help a lot for certain actions requiring a flick of the Wiimote). now perfectly emulated on the latest 3404 revision. These games rely on the pointer mechanic and the motion controls to play without revamping the entire control/gameplay system, you would not be able to effectively play this game with a gamepad. ![]() For all three of the Wii games, it's not. ![]()
